Norman has over 30 years experience writing stories. In that time he published 6 novels and wriote 67 screenplays made up of Shorts, Standards, Featurettes and Features.

He owned one of the largest film production meetup groups in the world with almost 7000 members. He was a Judge in the Austin Film Festival’s Heart of Film screenplay competition for 2 years and taught people to write both novels and screenplays for 6 years. He won several awards for his scripts including awards from Worldfest, Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival and Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. Several of Norman's 67 scripts were Independently produced

Norman will be speaking from his extensive experience and sharing techniques and tools from his book on screenwriting in his final teaching engagement for Houston.
